Grill Marks announced today it is expanding with a second location in Columbia. The downtown Greenville restaurant “has decided to spread its wings and migrate south for much longer than a winter,” said a press release.
“Our decision on Columbia, S.C., came from several factors, one of which being customer feedback on where they’d like to see the next location,” said Bob Munnich, managing partner for Larkin’s Restaurants. “It’s actually pretty cool; the building in Columbia reminds us a lot of our renovation here of the old Hot Dog King. From the exposed brick, history and high ceilings to the way it’s laid out. The only difference is that the new location is about double the size of Greenville’s.”
The restaurant is expected to open late summer and will post updates on its new Facebook page.
