Bon Secours St. Francis is growing its network of Upstate urgent care centers.
The health care system announced March 1 an expanded partnership with American Family Care by acquiring 10 AFC facilities from Upstate-based companies, Upstate Healthcare Holdings and Groves Enterprises, for an undisclosed sum.
Each clinic provides walk-in appointments for services such as:
- Trauma care for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries
- Diagnosis and treatment of injuries including sprains and strains, minor fractures, cuts, bumps and bruises
- Minor surgical care for cuts, puncture wounds and foreign body removal
- Physicals
- Digital x-ray services
- Lab work
“This partnership supports our health system’s goal of expanding and scaling our urgent care offerings to provide more access to same-day care, filling current gaps and making health care easier for patients in Upstate,” said Matt Caldwell, president of the Bon Secours Greenville market. “Our vision is to deliver welcoming, exceptional care that is personalized, quick and convenient.”
Bon Secours St. Francis owns 18 AFC locations in the Upstate.
