Smith Douglas Homes, a Georgia-based home builder, broke ground on a new residential community in Travelers Rest Sept. 19.
Magnolia Trail will consist of 77 townhomes on Lone Cypress Street, with direct access to the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail. The craftsman-style townhomes will include three bedrooms, two and a half baths, an open concept living space and one- and two-car garages.
The townhomes will be priced between $259,900 and $294,900. Jamie Brown, marketing manager at Smith Douglas Homes Greenville, said what sets Magnolia Trail apart is the lifestyle and value.
“Owning a brand-new townhome with direct trail access and mountain views at this price point is almost unheard of in Greenville County,” Brown said. “That’s why the interest has already been so strong — Magnolia Trail is truly a one-of-a-kind opportunity.”
Magnolia Trail represents Smith Douglas Home’s first residential community in South Carolina. The company has constructed more than 15,000 homes across the Southeast since 2008. Smith Douglas Homes currently builds in Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and now South Carolina.
“Travelers Rest represents everything we look for in a new community location,” said Chad Tumblin, division president of Smith Douglas Homes Greenville.
