South Carolina’s second-largest integrated marketing communication and events agency, Jackson Marketing, Motorsports & Events recently acquired Michigan-based EMC Strategic Communications.
The company opened in 1983 as Event Management Corporation by John Love and offers expertise in motorsports, the automotive industry, sustainable mobility, and design. Love relocated to Greenville to join Jackson as a vice president after the acquisition.
“John brings tremendous automotive and motorsports knowledge and experience to our staff,” Jackson president and CEO Darrell Jackson said in the release. “His expertise allows us to expand our marketing, event, media, and public relations services for our motorsports clients.”
EMC clients in the motorsports industry included U.S. Equipment Company, Atlas Van Lines, Miller, Molson, PPG Industries, Championship Auto Racing Teams (CART), BFGoodrich Tires, and Michelin.
“EMC has worked closely with Jackson on many programs through the years, and we are delighted to now be a member of their talented and hardworking team,” Love said in the release.
