Lucideon M+P, a subsidiary of Lucideon Group Limited, is expanding its local presence with a $7.5 million investment in a new Greenville facility.
The company announced it will be moving into a 23,000-square-foot space at Patewood Business Center, located at 1 Marcus Drive, said Chip Hunt, vice president of leasing and marketing with RealOp Investments, the property’s owner.
It will become home to Lucideon’s Center of Excellence for Additive Manufacturing, supporting aerospace and medical device manufacturing.
“We’ve been in Greenville for more than 18 years, supporting local businesses and those further afield. South Carolina’s business-friendly attitude and support have contributed to making this expansion possible for us. We’re excited to have the opportunity to grow in this thriving part of the country and hope to invest more in both equipment and people as our business flourishes,” said Joe Beagle, Lucideon M+P Greenville’s division manager.
Lucideon is a leading independent materials testing, analysis, characterization, development, and commercialization organization specializing in materials technologies and processes.
“Lucideon is a strong tenant and the kind of business that will keep Greenville’s economic future strong,” Hunt said. “We are excited to help them find their perfect location for this growth at Patewood Business Center.”
In the past few months, RealOp also has signed long-term leases at Patewood with Toshiba America and CSC ServiceWorks.
CBRE’s Blaine Hart and Shelby Dobson are the leasing team for Patewood Business Center.
