Keurig Dr Pepper, a hot and cold beverages producer, will invest $100 million to grow operations in its Moore facility, the South Carolina Department of Commerce announced Oct. 19.
The investment is expected to create 250 new manufacturing and distribution jobs at 6135 Anderson Mill Road by 2027. The facility is used for coffee roasting and packaging for K-Cup pods for use in Keurig brewers.
“Our facility in South Carolina remains an important asset in the ongoing evolution of our next-generation coffee production capabilities,” said Roger Johnson, chief supply chain officer for Keurig Dr Pepper. “Keurig Dr Pepper is proud to continue to grow in the welcoming and talent-rich community of Moore. We greatly appreciate the support we have received from the state of South Carolina in helping to facilitate our ongoing investment and hiring needs.”
KDP invested $380 million to create and develop the Moore facility, which broke ground in 2019. The investment has created 155 jobs.
