Atlanta company buys 2 Spartanburg complexes for $60.9M

The properties, formerly named Chartwell at North End and Chartwell Oak Forest, have been renamed Willows at North End and Parkside at Laurel West, respectively.

Atlanta-based real estate developer The RADCO Companies has purchased two Class-B apartment communities in Spartanburg for $60.9 million.

The properties, formerly named Chartwell at North End and Chartwell Oak Forest, have been renamed Willows at North End and Parkside at Laurel West, respectively.

RADCO plans to spend an estimated $6.4 million on upgrades to the two properties which have 700 units in total. Upgrades will include amenity spaces, landscaping, paths and interior finishes, the company said in a release.

RADCO owns 15,077 multifamily units in eight states, including five properties in the Upstate.
