Spartanburg-based Carolina Alliance Bank on Monday announced Mark Spears as its new vice president and executive of its South Carolina leasing division.
Spears, who will work out of the bank’s leasing office in Spartanburg, will be responsible for serving the leasing needs of commercial organizations throughout the state.
The bank specializes in leasing for vehicles, construction, industrial and manufacturing sectors, as well as for medical and government-related enterprises.
“The leasing division of Carolina Alliance continues to grow and we are excited to have Mark join our team,” said Barry Mason, executive vice president and commercial banking officer for Carolina Alliance, in a statement. “Mark brings to Carolina Alliance a broad range of business experience as well as a strong desire to provide top client service, which makes him a perfect fit for Carolina Alliance.”
According to Carolina Alliance, Spears has a background in sales, management, and client relations.
He earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in theology from Bob Jones University and holds a number of specialized certificates in management and training.
