Knoxville-based Dominion Senior Living is building a $10 million, faith-based assisted living and memory care community at Patrick Square in Clemson. It’s the second Dominion community in the Upstate and in South Carolina.

The two-story, 50,000-square-foot project will include 49 assisted living apartments and 17 memory care apartments at 100 Pershing Ave. The community will include landscaped gardens, covered porches, and a salon/barber shop.

It is expected to open in the late fall of 2018, and Lindsey Daugherty, owner/operator, will be the executive director.

Dominion Senior Living at Patrick Square will place its residents within a town center that includes restaurants, retail, and other amenities within walking distance. The residential community also will have technological advancements that include an electronic health record system, a nurse call system, mobile device alerts, and the ability to track all daily activities electronically. Nurses and professionally-trained caregivers will be available on-site, 24/7. Therapy and wellness programs also are available to residents.

Dominion Senior Living also has communities open or under construction in Anderson and eight other cities in Tennessee and Kentucky.
