Tamela Spann has been promoted to vice president of strategic initiatives at Hollingsworth Funds. In her new role, Spann supports the advancement of the organization’s strategy development, relationship building with community partners, and grant portfolio management.
She has served at Hollingsworth Funds since 2015. Spann has more than 25 years of experience in philanthropy, government affairs, community outreach, and teaching. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of South Carolina at Spartanburg and a master’s degree in secondary education from Converse College.
