Greenville-based software development firm Orange Bees was named the fastest growing company in South Carolina.
The award was presented at a ceremony hosted on Oct. 22 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center, featuring a keynote address from Lt. Governor Pamela Evette.
Orange Bees beat out 24 other finalists at the recognition ceremony, which was hosted by The Capital Corporation and co-sponsored by several South Carolina establishments, including PNC Bank, Keenan Suggs, A.T. Locke and Integrated Publishing.
Of the 25 South Carolina businesses that received recognition, 10 are headquartered in Greenville.
To qualify for the award, each business must be headquartered in South Carolina, operational for three years or more and show minimum revenue of $3 million within the last year.
