A second — and much larger than the original — co-work space in the Village of West Greenville is scheduled to open Oct. 1 in the West Village Lofts at Brandon Mill.
The new space, The Gathering at Textile Hall, is located inside the new loft apartment complex at 25 Draper St. and was created by Mill Community Ministries, who launched the Village’s first co-work space, Textile Hall at 582 Perry Ave., in the spring.

The Gathering will offer members 5,100 square feet of mixed-use space, including private 10-by-10-foot offices, semiprivate offices that will be divided by distressed wood screens and open-concept space with reclaimed wood and recycled granite desks.
The rustic industrial-style space also includes conference rooms, kitchen, meeting rooms, 24hour access, bike coop and unlimited coffee bar.
Mike Pennington, the director of both Textile Hall locations, said that while most co-working spaces cater to a specific demographic, Textile Hall welcomes anyone looking for more than just an office with amenities who also shares their vision for the culture and community.

Pennington said they try to keep the price point accessible so members don’t feel badly about not being there every day and also provide other services and equipment, such as $1,500 drafting desks, that an individual may not be able to personally afford but could benefit from using.
Mill Community Ministries is now offering tours at both locations by appointment. Visit textilehall.com.
