Construction on BridgeWay Station’s Block A building is moving along at full steam.
According to Harper Construction project manager Bobby Vine the building’s perimeter panels have been completely installed and the team is focusing on interior work before resuming vertical construction on the six-story building.
Block A is expected to be completed by the end of 2022 and Harper Construction is also looking at the future blocks or phases and pricing them. In addition, the next area scheduled for construction is Block F, which will be near the Spectrum office. It will feature a stage, outdoor courtyard and apartments, said Vine.
The construction of a pedestrian bridge connecting BridgeWay Station to the other side of I-385 is also expected to begin in early 2022, said Mauldin City Administrator Brandon Madden.
