Pickleball has been sweeping the Upstate as of late. The newest addition will be an indoor facility called Baseline GVL, coming to Haywood Road.
Here’s what we know so far:
- There will be a total of 16 temperature-controlled courts.
- Ball machines will be available for rent
- Visitors will be able to take lessons and participate in sports leagues
- Both membership and pay-to-play options will be available
- Complimentary coffee will be available to players
- The court will create a pro shop with a range of paddle brands
A private groundbreaking event is expected for April. Baseline GVL will be located at 8 Gladys Drive just off Haywood Road.
