Sprouts Farmers Market will open in 2024 near the intersection of Pleasantburg Drive and East North Street in Greenville.
A groundbreaking for the roughly 25,000-square-foot store was held Oct. 10. Sprouts sells fresh and organic foods, including seasonal produce, custom meats, supplements and vitamins, according to a news release. It also offers ready-to-eat meals and products that cater to dietary options such as gluten-free, vegan and paleo.
The former Bi-Lo location in the North Hills Shopping Center, on Greenville’s east side, is part of a significant investment by Charlotte-based Aston Properties to overhaul the property.
“Sprouts’ commitment to positively impact the neighborhoods where its customers and team members live aligns with our vision to improve the quality of shopping experiences for the surrounding community,” said George S. Dewey IV, president and CEO of Aston Properties.
Aston Properties owns three other shopping centers in the Greenville area: Verdae Village, McDaniel Village and Powdersville Plaza.
The Sprouts in Greenville will be the company’s second location in the Upstate. A market opened in Simpsonville in 2018.
