Southern Bank, a financial institution based in the Upstate, purchased a 44,000-square-foot office campus in Duncan for an undisclosed sum, the business announced July 10.
The bank will use its new facility at 310 Inglesby Parkway to house its customer support administration and loan operations department.
“This acquisition is very exciting and will expedite our growth plans for the Southern Bank. It represents a significant investment in our community and our commitment to providing the highest level of service to our customers,” Southern Bank President Scott Frierson said. “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to expand our presence in the Upstate community and continue to serve the area’s financial needs for generations to come.”
