Between recognizing the city of Greenville’s trailblazers and developing its 34,000-square-foot music venue, The Trueline Greenville team has been busy.
The team is now on the precipice of its groundbreaking scheduled for April 25, and it has released a new rendering of the venue.
Trueline’s CEO, Michael Grozier, focused on a space that would be innovative for Greenville from the beginning. Grozier is a music and event venue veteran, having co-founded the House of Blues with Isaac Tigrett. Grozier describes Greenville’s venue as a “crowning,” having put his years of knowledge into its development.
The new rendering depicts a perspective of the event space’s concert hall from the musician’s perspective. The main hall will book national touring acts but also function as a private event or festival space.
An important aspect of the concert hall is its tiered seating, with each row in front of the stage ascending in 8-inch increments. The intent is for everyone in the audience to have a clear view.

The concert hall’s stage includes a balcony above the main hall for a full capacity of 1,700, with 175 of those seats in the mezzanine.
Construction of the venue will be in collaboration with local builders Clayton Construction Company. The upcoming Trueline venue is located at 401 Rhett Street in downtown Greenville’s West End near Fluor Field and the upcoming Vardry Residences by Kimpton Hotels and Residences.
