South Carolina Research Authority, a public, nonprofit corporation that works to fuel the state’s innovation economy, announced June 4 it welcomed MyUI.AI LLC of Simpsonville as a member company.
MyUI.AI LLC is an information technology startup that works to enable people with disabilities to interact with customized digital interfaces. Its cloud-based system leverages AI to adapt the digital interfaces of consumer appliances, kiosks and nearly any compatible Internet of Things device to the specific interaction needs of people with disabilities.
SMPL-C Corp. of Mount Pleasant was also welcomed a member company.
As SCRA member companies, the businesses will receive coaching, access to experts, grant eligibility and consideration for an investment from SCRA’s investment affiliate, SC Launch.
SCRA awarded a $50,000 acceleration grant to MASDEV LLC DBA Custom Donations of Florence.
