South Carolina Research Authority, a public, nonprofit corporation that works to fuel the state’s innovation economy, announced April 4 it welcomed Builder Rocket LLC, an information technology company based in Spartanburg, as one of three new member companies.
The business provides construction estimating software that builds a comprehensive customer product storyboard and estimating template that shares information among builders, clients, distributors and contractors.
Joining Builder Rocket LLC as member companies are CloseWise LLC and ElectroWire Inc. Corporation of Lexington.
As SCRA member companies, the businesses will receive:
- Coaching
- Access to experts in SCRA’s Resource Partner Network
- Eligibility to apply for grant funding
- Consideration for an investment from SCRA’s investment affiliate, SC Launch
SCRA also awarded $125,000 in grants to three of its new member companies:
- Carolina Seed Systems Inc. – $50,000 grant
- Pensievision Inc. – $25,000 grant
- Tandem Concepts Inc. – $50,000 grant
