Lee & Associates announced MEVA Formwork Systems, a formwork technology provider based in Haiterbach, Germany, has acquired a facility located near the intersection of I-85 and I-26 in Spartanburg County for an undisclosed amount.
The 55,915 square-foot building is situated on six acres and will serve as the company’s new regional center for the southeastern U.S.. It is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2021 and will house 20-25 employees.
“Our Spartanburg presence is ideally located to give us easy access to major commercial construction projects in the Carolinas and the Atlanta metro market,” said MEVA Formwork Systems president Scott Fisk. “Along with our U.S. headquarters in Springfield, Ohio, we’re well-positioned to service most of the eastern half of the country.”
In addition, MEVA’s Charlotte location is being consolidated and moved to the new regional center in Spartanburg.
The company has more than 40 locations worldwide.
