On Wed., April 17, The Kessler Collection officially broke ground on the highly anticipated Grand Bohemian Hotel Greenville.

Set to debut in 2021, the 187-room hotel will serve as a gateway to Greenville’s beloved Falls Park on the Reedy River.

Grand Bohemian Greenville will feature 30 suites with balconies, signature Poseidon Spa, and an art collection curated by Richard C. Kessler, chairman and CEO of The Kessler Collection. Additionally, the hotel will feature both indoor and outdoor event spaces and a two-story restaurant and bar.

Kessler said the location of the new space is uniquely dramatic, situated in the heart of downtown. “There will be no other hotel in the state of South Carolina with such tranquil ambiance created by natural beauty.”

During the groundbreaking ceremony, local dignitaries recognized the dedication and vision for the project. Mayor Knox White and interim city manager and director of economic development, Nancy Whitworth were in attendance.
