Thirteen Upstate colleges make U.S. News & World Report’s best list for 2018

Thirteen four-year institutions in the Upstate were recognized on U.S. News & World Report's 2018 list of America's Best Colleges.

U.S. News & World Report on Tuesday, Sept. 12, released its 2018 best college rankings.

The Washington D.C.-based media company publishes the annual list based on methodology that “focuses on academic excellence with schools evaluated on hundreds of data points and up to 15 measures of academic quality.”

Thirteen four-year institutions in the Upstate were among more than 30 colleges and universities from South Carolina named on the list.
