USC Upstate names interim executive director


University of South Carolina Upstate named Stacey Mills as interim executive director of the Greenville campus, which is housed at the University Center Greenville.

“Stacey Mills will be a tremendous asset to our Greenville operations, working with the community and leading USC Upstate’s efforts to provide quality academic programs that meet the needs of the area’s workforce,” Dr. Clif Flynn, interim senior vice chancellor for academic affairs, said in a release.

Mills previously served as the director of student services for USC Upstate and as the assistant director of student life, where he was responsible for multicultural student services, leadership programs, non-traditional student services and NPHC Greek life.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from USC Upstate in 1996.
