VentureSouth recently conducted investment rounds for two startups based in Greenville. These startups are the 22nd and 23rd companies that VentureSouth has invested in and supported within Greenville.

One of the companies, the startup Offsite, presents a marketplace that permits both website and list owners to share their viewers with advertisers, without having to sell the data of their customers.

The other startup, Zylö Therapeutics, introduces a new drug delivery system that uses nanoparticles. These nanoparticles, called Z-pods™, deliver medication through topical application.

Matt Dunbar, Managing Director for VentureSouth, says these investments are indications of the health and grow of startups based in Greenville. “Our investments speak to the growth of serial entrepreneurship here as both of these companies are led by entrepreneurs who have been founders before,” said Dunbar. “Being able to combine their talent and experience with local investors’ insight and capital demonstrates the model we have been working to build, so it’s exciting to see the process come to fruition in these two new companies.”
