Sticky Fingers Smokehouse has announced its closure, effective immediately.
The restaurant made the announcement through a sign on the door, stating:
“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of Sticky Fingers Ribhouse, Greenville effective immediately,” the sign said.
A reason for closure was not given. The business was started in Charleston in 1992 by three friends–Todd Eischeid, Jeff Goldstein, and Chad Walldorf–and spurred several additional locations throughout the southeast. The business has undergone ownership changes several times and during the pandemic closed nine of its locations.
The owners of the restaurant could not be reached for comment.
The storefront is located at 1 S. Main St. in Greenville. No word has yet been given on what may enter the space.
