Rufus Thornwell “Wells” Dunlap V was promoted to senior vice officer and senior operations officer with Countybank.
He will lead several key areas of the bank, including retail banking, digital delivery and bank operations.
Dunlap joined Countybank in 2013 and has worked as commercial credit analyst, community reinvestment act officer, commercial lender and vice president.
He serves as chair for the South Carolina Bankers Association’s Young Bankers Division, member of the Greenwood Rotary Club and is on the board of directors for the Greenwood Area Habitat for Humanity, the Greenwood Genetic Center Foundation and the Greenwood Museum.
Dunlap is part of Leadership Greenville’s 49th class and is an alumnus of Leadership Greenwood.
He is a graduate of Presbyterian College, the South Carolina Bankers School and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
