Goodwyn Mills Cawood, an architecture and engineering firm with an office at The Commons, announced Aug. 11 it will add more than 3,800 square feet to its Greenville office.
Once the expansion is complete, the office will grow from 10,000 to 13,800 square feet. The project is expected to add 30 workstations and collaborative space as well as updated conference rooms, an enhanced interiors workroom, a materials library and a dedicated project center.
“Our team loves calling this office home,” said Kevin Laird, GMC executive vice president of engineering. “Being at The Commons gives us the opportunity to enjoy the park throughout the day, right along the Swamp Rabbit Trail, and we’ve loved working on projects nearby, like Mayberry Field at Unity Park. Staying at The Commons allows us to continue growing our Greenville team while remaining in a place that’s become an important part of our culture.”
