In an effort to meet the high demand for flex space, the Corporate Center off I-85 in Spartanburg is adding two new buildings to its existing Class A park along with five new tenants.
Already under construction is an eighth building on the 193-acre campus that will offer an additional 50,000 square feet of space that can be expanded up to 72,000 square feet. All utilities, including fiber optics, will be available, and additional parking can be added as needed. This building is expected to be available for occupancy starting Jan. 1, 2014, according to a press release issued by NAI Earle Furman.
In the next six months, Corporate Center is projected to build a second 50,000-square-foot building on the same site.
“We have enjoyed seeing our tenants flourish in our space and are thrilled to experience continued growth in the park,” said Peter Weisman, owner and architect of Corporate Center. “Corporate Center has set itself apart because we have an on-site design and development team in place that can truly understand our clients’ unique business needs and be readily available to them on a daily basis.”
Additionally, five new tenants have moved into the existing buildings, collectively leasing a total of approximately 90,000 square feet.
Filling the existing buildings, the five new tenants are Charter, a Fortune 500 company providing a full range of broadband services; Smooth Bore, a manufacturer of hose and tubing for medical, automotive and other purposes; NicVape, a manufacturer of e-cigarettes; Lyndorff, a manufacturer of custom molded packaging for automotive parts; and Turnkey Design, an engineering firm designing fuel pumps for drone aircrafts.
With these new occupants, Corporate Center has a roster of 19 companies leasing a total of approximately 300,000 square feet.
“This is an exciting time for Corporate Center. They offer quality space that uniquely fits each tenant and is highly desirable in our market,” said Dan Dunn, the listing agent with NAI Earle Furman.
