Word of the Mexican-inspired taqueria Taco Boy hit the streets of Greenville last year, exciting taco enthusiasts.
The Folly Beach-born eatery is set to occupy a site at 1813 Laurens Road. The building was once home to another taqueria, Farmhouse Tacos. Taco Boy operates under the hospitality management group All Good Industries, based in Charleston.
The group has opened three locations in North Carolina in the last few years: West Asheville in late 2022, Biltmore Park in 2023, and in Charlotte’s LoSo station in January.
“Given the significant growth experienced over the last year, Taco Boy is definitely in a phase of refining operations right now. We’ll be shifting our focus to the Laurens Road project later this year,” said Savannah Copeland, marketing manager for All Good Industries.
Copeland said the group wants to focus on recently opened locations before giving full attention to Laurens Road.
Taco Boy owns the Laurens Road location and the plans are drawn up, but there is no targeted opening date as of yet.
