Nothing Bundt Cakes is adding a store in Taylors, its third in the Upstate.
The specialty cake chain announced on its website it would open at 5314 Wade Hampton Blvd.; an exact opening date was not given. The location is next door to ReadyVets Veterinary Care.
The chain opened its first store in Las Vegas in 1997. Today, it has more than 600 locations nationwide, including on Verdae Boulevard in Greenville and East Main Street in Spartanburg.
Clemson University football coach Dabo Swinney once gave the cake business a boost when he was a commercial real estate agent in 2001. Swinney helped secure the lease for the second-ever Nothing Bundt Cakes location.
