Small Sliders will soon open a location at 1450 WO Ezell Blvd. in Spartanburg’s Market Square shopping center.
The Atlanta-based business specializes in cheeseburger sliders and was founded by Brandon Landry and later backed by former NFL quarterback Drew Brees. The Spartanburg location will be the first in South Carolina for the burger restaurant and is celebrating its grand opening by offering the first 100 guests a pair of Small Sliders slide flip-flops.
The restaurant aims to utilize a smaller, more sustainable design for its storefronts, opting for 750-square-foot modular shipping container facilities it calls ‘Cans.’ The restaurant will also present a check to Chip Walters, founder of Spartanburg-based mobile church, Sidewalk Hope, at a later date.
