William McKinney was elected to serve on the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce board of directors.
He also serves on the boards of the South Carolina Historical Society, SouthArts and the Edenton Street United Methodist Church Children’s Development Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.
McKinney is based in Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd’s Greenville office and focuses his practice in the areas of state and local government, economic development and business litigation. He also spends time in Raleigh, North Carolina, where the firm has several clients.
He has been awarded the Order of the Long Leaf Pine, North Carolina’s highest civilian honor, and has been appointed as chair of the North Carolina — Catawba Compact Certification Commission.
