KEMET Corporation is expanding its commercial and automotive lines of surface-mount multilayer ceramic capacitors in C0G dielectric.
The material used in the new capacitors is said by the company to eliminate piezoelectric noise and offer high thermal stability and no capacitance decay with time.
The capacitors are used in applications including critical timing, tuning, decoupling, bypass, filtering, blocking, circuits requiring low loss, circuits with pulse, high current, transient voltage suppression and energy storage.
