Dumont Creamery & Cafe will hold its grand opening May 23 at 1757 Woodruff Road, next door to Sofrito Latin Kitchen.
The business will offer buy-one-get-one-free deals on all drinks and ice cream throughout its opening weekend.
Dumont was founded in India but expanded to the United States in 2023.
In addition to ice cream, the business offers a wide range of treats including boba and fruit teas, coffee, lemonades, smoothies and falooda, which is a layered drink similar to a float.
“You’ll notice the ice creams are not essence-based and that we use real fruit” said a spokesperson for Dumont. “If you taste raspberry today, maybe the next batch you get might be little bit sour, a little bit more tasty based on the raspberries that were used.”
The shop offers more than 20 small-batch flavors including raspberry mascarpone, cake and jam, Biscoff and kheer flavors. Kheer is an Indian dessert.
Dumont offers India-based Karafa Coffee, a shade-grown coffee business. Shade-grown coffee differs from other forms of coffee as it is grown under the canopy of trees. The result is a smooth flavor and a crop that promotes biodiversity.
The ice cream shop will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
