Furman University’s Center for Corporate and Professional Development is accepting nominations for “Connections: Women Leaders of the Upstate.”
The program, which began in 1997, is designed for women of various ages, races and areas of the community who have either demonstrated leadership abilities or been identified as possessing potential for leadership. The program launches on Jan. 14, 2014, and runs through April 22 at Furman with an evening orientation and a kickoff presentation. It also features a luncheon and seminar series on issues confronted by women in leadership.
In addition, this year’s class will be able to participate in a 360-degree evaluation followed by a one-on-one coaching session to help enhance their personal leadership style. Graduates are also invited to follow-up networking programs. Tuition is $1,250, which includes professional development seminars, materials and meals.
