Allen Robinson joined The Southern Bank as senior vice president of residential mortgage.
He has more than 30 years of experience originating, packaging and delivering agency-quality mortgage loans in primary and secondary markets.
In 1990, Robinson founded a multifaceted mortgage brokerage that grew into 14 regional production offices and an outbound telemarketing unit across South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Mississippi. He sold a majority of his locations to Upland Mortgage in 2000 and consolidated the remaining operations into two locations.
