Chris Baretta recently joined The Greenville Triumph as the club’s chief revenue officer. Baretta comes to the club from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, where he served as a senior associate athletic director and adjunct professor.
Prior to his time at North Texas, Baretta served as the assistant athletic director in charge of ticket sales and revenue at The Citadel. Baretta previously worked for FC Dallas and the Seattle Sounders of Major League Soccer, as well as the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks. He was named MLS Sales Executive of the Year in 2014.
Baretta attended USC Upstate where he played midfield on the men’s soccer team from 2001-2005. During his time with the Spartans, he was named First Team All-Conference.
