David Lockwood was named president-elect for the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors.
He also works as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Colliers | South Carolina.
Lockwood was elected as SIOR vice president in fall 2021 and has also served as past president of the Carolinas SIOR Chapter. He has been active within SIOR on a national level, including serving two terms on the board of directors and chairing numerous committees related to governance, education and membership.
He also served as a member of the SIOR Foundation board of trustees and served eight years as SIOR’s representative on the National Association of Realtors executive committee.
Lockwood holds certified commercial investment member and counselor of real estate designations. He serves as vice chair of the South Carolina Real Estate Commission and is a commissioner representing the 2nd Congressional District. He is also a past chair of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Clemson University Board of Visitors where he serves as chair of the student engagement committee.
