Julie Dunson Meredith was appointed director of Furman University’s The Riley Institute’s Center for Critical Issues.
She replaces Jill Fuson, who retired from the position after 15 years of service.
Meredith will oversee all Riley Institute policy and award events and student leadership activities, to increase understanding of policy and politics connected to issues of critical importance to the state, nation, and world among Furman students and community members.
She worked for Safe Harbor in a variety of capacities, including director of programs.
