A new specialty market and grocery store opened on Aug. 30 in downtown Fountain Inn.
Fountain Foods Market located at 209 S. Main St offers a variety of grocery items from locally sourced meat and cheese to jams and jellies.
Over 40 made-from-scratch meals including chicken pot pie, lasagna, casseroles, pasta and more will be available for customers to pick up. The market also offers a selection of baked goods.
The shop is owned by Kristy and Jesse Willey, the former owners of The Pantry Shoppe in Greenwood. Kristy Willey said there are not many grocery stores in Fountain Inn so they are excited to fill this need in the community.
“While we’re still making some of the things we’re well known for, like chicken pot pies and casseroles, we’ve worked hard to curate a whole new selection of take & bake meals and specialty items for the market,” Kristy Willey said.
Fountain Foods Market is open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
