Draper Purveying Co., a restaurant and lounge, is now open on West Washington Street in downtown Greenville.
The venue will look familiar – it was formerly home to Barley’s next to Trappe Door. Plans for the space were first unveiled at a Board of Zoning Appeals meeting last December. The new concept was developed by owner Howard Dozier, who also owns NEAT Bourbon Bar and The Cocktail Company, among others.
The restaurant opened Aug. 22 with two stories to the restaurant and lounge space. Events are already planned, including a visit from Southern Hospitality personality Maddi Reese on Sept. 7.
