It’s moving day for Copper Penny’s Greenville location.
The Charleston-based women’s boutique, formerly at 1922 Augusta St., has officially moved to its new home in the old theater at 233 N. Main St., Ste. 4, next to Pure on Main and across from NOMA Square. Owner Elizabeth Rubel and her moving crew were busy unloading furniture, display pieces, and boxes throughout the day and deliberating about the chandelier over the cash wrap — it wasn’t the correct one.
Manager Cara Jenkinson says they’ll spend the next eight or nine days staging the new space before opening to the public.
The store will hold a grand opening Feb. 16 at 6 p.m.
