Billy McClatchey joined Southern First Bancshares Inc., the holding company for Southern First Bank, as director.
He is the CEO of Chaucer Creek Capital in Raleigh, North Carolina.
McClatchey previously founded, grew and exited McClatchey Broadcasting Co., which owned and operated radio stations across the Carolinas. He worked in mergers and acquisition groups for Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co. and for Trident Financial Corp.
He is a graduate of Duke University and the University of North Carolina.
