Dawn C. Davis Deck was appointed to Converse University’s board of trustees.
She works as executive director of the Local Initiatives Support Corp. Upstate South Carolina program office.
Deck serves as a member of the Advocacy Committee of the United Way of the Piedmont. She served on the Alumnae Association Board at Converse.
She is a graduate of Converse University, the Grassroots Leadership Development Institute through the Spartanburg County Foundation, Spartanburg County’s Citizens’ Academy, Leadership Spartanburg and The Riley Institute’s Diversity Leaders Initiative.
