Kris Phillips was appointed director of economic development with SeamonWhiteside, a full-service site design firm.
He has 13 years of industry experience and has worked on economic-development projects across 35 states, including his tenure as a site-selection consultant and as the assistant director of economic development in Chester County.
Phillips serves on the board of directors for the South Carolina Economic Developers Association.
He is a graduate of Clemson University and Charlotte School of Law.
