Max Metcalf was appointed to the South Carolina Department of Transportation Commission as 4th Congressional District representative.
He also works as manager of government and community relations at BMW Manufacturing.
Metcalf served as director of transportation and intergovernmental relations in South Carolina Gov. Carroll A. Campbell Jr.’s office; district administrator in former U.S. Rep. Bob Inglis’s office; and vice president of public policy with the Greater Greenville Chamber of Commerce.
He is a graduate of Clemson University.
