Namdar Realty Group, a commercial real estate investment and management firm based in New York, purchased Westgate Mall in Spartanburg for over $15 million May 23.
The New York-based business plans to do some remodeling but will keep the property operating as a mall, said Dustin Tenney of SVN Blackstream’s Reedy River Retail team, who represented the seller in collaboration with his partner Daniel Holloway, SVN Second Story of Chattanooga, Tennessee and SVN Vanguard of San Diego, California.
Namdar Realty Group’s portfolio includes retail assets as well as multi-family, mixed-use, office and health care properties throughout the United States.
