Cava is coming to Greenville.
The fast casual Mediterranean restaurant will be opening in the old Zoe’s Kitchen location behind Starbucks on Augusta Road in mid-February.
No official opening date has been set, but through the door that says “Cava Coming Soon,” workers are already outfitting the interior for the new concept. The workers said they anticipated work to be completed within a little over a month and for the restaurant to open shortly thereafter in the middle of February.

Cava is a popular and growing brand that offers bowls, salads, pitas and other health-food meals, with a focus on Mediterranean ingredients. Patrons of Chipotle and Moe’s will find a similar line-style ordering system and menu options.
The concept originated in Washington, D.C., and has since expanded across the country. Cava recently took over four other Zoe’s Kitchen locations in Texas.
