Upstate foodies may need to plan to visit Simpsonville this year as a pair of high-profile eateries are planning to open soon.
According to Dustin Tenney with Reedy River Retail at SVN Blackstream, Farm Fresh FAST will be coming to Burdette Central in Simpsonville.
The restaurant, which offers a variety of farm-fresh menu items in addition to sugar-free, gluten-free, vegan donuts (pictured) will occupy the space next to 1885 Taproom and across from Sidewall Pizza.
Farm Fresh FAST is expected to open in early spring and the Simpsonville location will serve as the restaurant’s second storefront.
Joining Farm Fresh FAST in downtown Simpsonville is Willy Taco.
The restaurant, which will occupy a portion of the old Upstate Karate space in Simpsonville Square shopping center on Main Street, is expected to open by the summer, said Tenney.
In addition, to expanding its presence to Simpsonville, Willy Taco bought the shopping center and plans to continue upgrades including landscaping and adding garage door roll-ups on the side of the building, he said.
Willy Taco also has locations in Greenville, Hub City in Spartanburg and Boiling Springs.
