A major new development may soon rise up over the corner of Ackley and Laurens Roads in the near future.
The Alliance is a proposed mixed-use development that will consist of 6,500 square feet of retail space, more than 100 affordable housing units and a large plaza area.
The proposed development site currently sits empty, adjacent to a Napa Auto Parts and Family Dollar.
Plans for the development were submitted by NHE real estate management to the City of Greenville’s Planning Commission, which will review the plans during the commission’s meeting on Jan 20. at 4 p.m. at the Greenville Convention Center at 1 Exposition Way.
Designed by McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture, the plans are still preliminary, but here’s a look at what could soon be in store for the location.
